The price for the stay was appealing. The manager made our arrival pleasant and engaging. The comfortable beds provided a restful night's sleep. We appreciated the good coffee at breakfast, which gave a nice boost to start the day.

However, the overall room condition definitely feels outdated.

Clean carpets, well-functioning air conditioner, proximity to local restaurants

The noise from the parking lot at night can be disruptive!!! The ice machine is broken, and the ramp access is blocked by a vending machine!!!

Had a great time with friends at this motel! Enjoyed fishing and water skiing on Lake Martin, which is only about 12 miles away. The owners are updating the place bit by bit, making it cozier for guests. We found plenty of nearby dining options too, thanks to the info in the brochures at the front desk. A solid budget choice for the area.

The room was a bit dimly lit, which made it hard to see sometimes. An extra lamp would help brighten things up a bit for future guests.
